Sherpa Chai Bartender Recipes

The Sagarmatha (Nepalese for Mount Everest)

The Sagarmatha is a comforting, cozy and deliciously smooth cocktail that combines Sherpa Chai with the creaminess of your favorite milk/milk substitute, Bailey’s and Jack Daniels. Enjoy hot or cold year-round!

Recipe :
  • 1 part Sherpa Chai Traditional or Sherpa Chai Spicy
  • 1 part milk/cream/milk substitute (oat, almond or coconut milk)
  • 1 part Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1 part Jack Daniels
  • Can be served hot or over ice

The Pumori (Nepalese for "Mountain Daughter" - climbers sometimes refer to Pumori as "Everest's Daughter")

The Pumori is a light, summery alternative to the traditional margarita, with an added kick of Turmeric Ginger Sherpa Chai. Enjoy the added benefits of enhanced immune function and reduced inflammation in your new favorite chai-inspired cocktail!

Recipe :
  • 2 parts Sherpa Chai Turmeric Ginger
  • 1 part tequila
  • 1 part triple sec
  • Squeeze of lime juice
  • Salt the rim of the glass and serve over ice

The Khumbu Sherpa Warm-Up (Khumbu is the Nepalese name for the Everest Region)

The Khumbu Sherpa Warm-Up is the perfect cool weather cocktail, providing a spicy dose of Sherpa Chai, warm milk/milk alternative, rum and topped with luscious whipped cream. Cold days call for this revamped hot toddy that will warm your cockles!

Recipe :
  • 2 parts Sherpa Chai Traditional or Sherpa Chai Spicy
  • 1 part milk/cream/milk substitute (oat, almond or coconut milk)
  • 1 part spiced rum
  • Whip cream on top
  • Served hot

The Silly Dilli (Named for Sherpa Chai’s brew master, Dilli Koirala)

If you’re a dirty chai lover, the Silly Dilli is for you! This warm cocktail is a deliciously creamy blend of espresso, milk/milk substitute, Kahlua, with an added kick of Spicy Sherpa Chai. Try one today!

Recipe :
  • 1 part Sherpa Chai Traditional or Sherpa Chai Spicy
  • 1 shot espresso
  • 1 part milk/cream/milk substitute (oat, almond or coconut milk)
  • 1 shot Kahlua
  • Served hot

The Sherpa Mule

This cocktail is Nepal’s take on Manhattan’s iconic Moscow mule, featuring Turmeric Ginger Sherpa Chai, ginger beer and vodka. One sip and you’ll be completely refreshed!

Recipe :
  • 1 part Sherpa Chai Turmeric Ginger
  • 1 part ginger beer
  • 1 shot vodka
  • Lime juice
  • Lightly muddled spring of mint
  • Served over ice with lime garnish

Turmeric Ginger Sherpa Chai Soda

Switch-up your cocktail hour with a botanical mocktail! This sweet and tangy non-alcoholic concoction, featuring the herbal powers of Turmeric Ginger Sherpa Chai, club soda and lemon juice (or juice of your choice) is so satisfying, you won’t miss the alcohol. You can toast to happy hour…guilt-free!

Recipe :
  • 1 part Turmeric Ginger Sherpa Chai
  • 1 part club soda
  • Lime or lemon juice
  • Served over ice with lime garnish

In addition this soda can be mixed with any other fruit juice – cranberry juice, orange juice, mango juice, coconut juice and/or pineapple juice.
